New Zealand is a country about 7550 kilometres from Indonesia. However, the distance is not a reason to strengthen the country’s relationship between Indonesia and New Zealand. Moreover, the cooperation has been established for almost 60 years. Indonesia is one of the largest Muslim countries and also rank 4 with the most significant population in the world that makes Indonesia as one of the priority cooperation of New Zealand. For more than four decades Indonesia-New Zealand also has much collaboration in various fields such as Energy, Disaster Risk Management, Agriculture and Human Resource Development. This activity is also one of the events to support the vision of UMY, namely to become a university that excels in the development of science and technology with the basis of Islamic values for the benefit of the people.
