International Seminar : health policy, administrative reform and parliament in Thailand

Jusuf Kalla School of Government with Master of Government Affairs and Administration Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (MGGA UMY) held in Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta in collaboration with Thammasat University Thailand organizes International Seminar along with theme health policy, Administrative Reform, and Parliament in Thailand. This seminar joint for two days in 23-24 December in the seminar room, 4th floor, postgraduate building, UMY. In 23 December the speakers of this seminar is Dr. Suranto M.pol, Dr. Dyah Mutiarin and Prof. Amporn Tamronglak and the moderator is Anwar Kholid., S.IP. MIP. They discussed about comparison health policy in Thailand and Indonesia. Dr. Dyah Mutiarin the head of Master of Government Affairs and Administration Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (MGGA UMY) said that health policy in Indonesia still many deficiencies and constraints so this is very important to discussed.
The second day in 24 December the speaker in this seminar is Prof Amporn Tamronglak and the moderator is Rijal Ramdani, MPA to discussed about political transition in Thailand. Prof. Amporn Tamronglak said that After Thailand through a coup they use temporary constitution. Thailand submit twice the constitution which at Thailand’s first constitution was not approved, and the second constitution is approved. After the constitution is approved, the challenges by Thailand is a need to hold elections. Because as we know that Thailand is a country ruled by a king, so when they will undertake political reforms and hold an election, Thailand must be prepare it.
