UMY and The Cultural Counselor of Iran are going for Scholarship Collaboration
UMY always welcomes to any opportunities to enforce the links in the scope of national and international. It brought many parties who were interested in collaborating with UMY. On Wednesday (25/9), Dr. Mehrdad Rakhshandeh as a Cultural Counsellor of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, visited UMY for the first time to discuss the cooperation possibilities in the field of education. The visit took place in LP3M’s Meeting Room was warmly welcomed by Eko Priyo Purnomo, Ph. D as an Executive Director of Cooperation and International Affairs and Dr. Ir. Gatot Supangkat, MP as a Head of LP3M UMY.
Mehrdad Rakhshandeh stressed that the Iran Embassy would support their best in building cooperation between the Government of Iran and Indonesia related to the education issues such as scholarship, research collaboration, or student exchange. “For the professor or students, if they are going to have comparative studies between Iran and Indonesia or project which is accepted by the university, the Iran Government will facilitate the program” Mehrdad said. for further information please click here (ank)
