At the 1^st Government Gathering, Head of Office of Cooperation and International Affairs of Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY) Eko Priyono Purnomo, M.Res., Ph.D. stated that local government and higher education should foster their cooperation and go hand in hand to confront this disruptive era. This event will be scheduled as annual agenda for developing, institutionalizing as well as triggering cooperation and innovation between UMY and Regional Governments.
Attended by UMY Officials, Regional Government Officials and various participants, the series of events which consist of discussion, declaration and MoU signing also expo services and product had done effectively. During discussion, all the parties who involved were having opportunity to present on their own product and service excellence. This is intended to share and create more opportunities and cooperation among parties, absolutely. In line with that, the expo also became another way to introduce the good and service product as an innovation created by some departments of UMY and Regional Governments. (Aulia)
