Fast Track Undergraduate – Master Program (S1-S2)
In order to support the government to increase the number of human resource with bachelor and master qualifications who will play a role in the development of science and its applications, Department of Government Affairs and Administration, Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta organized a Fast Track Program. The Undergraduate-Master Fast Track Program Department of Government Affairs and Administration, Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta is a program designed to facilitate the undergraduate students with great interest in continuing their studies to the master degree in the same field as their undergraduate’s field of interest. Apart from accelerating the study period for students, the fast-track program can also promote an increase in scientific publications of the students.
Fast-Track Master – Doctoral Program
Department of Government Affairs and Administration, Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta is striving to be the center of science educational institution, excels in research and innovations, proven by the rapid development in terms of the number of students, departments and study programs, scholarships, national and international collaborations, number of patents issued as well as highly reputable international publications.
Currently, the Department of Government Affairs and Administration is implemented in several schemes, namely Study Pathway Master Program, Research Pathway Master Program, Study and Research Pathway Doctoral Program and Research Pathway Doctoral Program, where all of these schemes can be held in the University or overseas Research Institutions following the International Mobility Scheme covering the shorter study period (8 – 10 semesters) without downgrading the quality of Doctoral graduates.
The Fast Track program is available for the students registered in the respective Study Program by conforming the following requirements:
The student is registered in the Undergraduate, Master, and Doctoral Program organizing the Fast Track Program.
-The student has achieved 18 (eighteen) credits with a minimum GPA of 3.50 (three point five zero) at the end of the semester.
– The student has a minimum institutional score of 550 from TOEFL/EPT or 6.0 from IELTS, or 90 from Duolingo or 62 from IBT in maximum 2 years prior to registration.
– Shows great motivation to perform research (will be evaluated through interviews).
– Thesis and Dissertation is an integral simultaneous research, potential of producing excellent research publications.
