JK: Moderation, Middle Way Against Radicalism

Vice President 2014-2019 Dr. (HC). Drs. H. Muhammad Jusuf Kalla attended the inauguration of the Chairman of the Muhammadiyah Central Executive Prof. Dr. Haedar Nashir, M.Si who continued at the Yogyakarta Muhammadiyah Sportorium on Thursday (12/21/2019).
The man who was of Bugis Bone blood in South Sulawesi, in his short speech welcomed congratulations and helped him proudly inaugurate Professor Haedar Nashir. Jusuf Kalla agreed with the presentation delivered by Haedar Nashir in his inaugural speech in praise of the teacher entitled “Moderation of Indonesia and Indonesia-Indonesia: A Sociological Perspective”. Jusuf Kalla answered that radicalism is indeed a challenge that must be opposed by the Indonesian people today.
“We are talking about what Haedar conveyed is very important, because the compilation of speeches on issues that are currently hot among the public about radicalism. Radicalism is a new thought and considered precarious, for example the reform era is also a process of radicalism, the new order is the same. With the discussion presented earlier, hopefully it will make us think and apply moderation as a middle ground for radicalism. I congratulate Haedar on the gaining of this great teacher. ” said Jusuf Kalla
Besides Jusuf Kalla. Present as a figure were also present at the inauguration of professor Haedar Nashir, former Chairman of the Muhammadiyah Central Chairman, Buya Ahmad Syafii Maarif, Former Marine Minister of Fisheries dam Susi Pudjiastuti, and Former Minister of Communication and Information Rudiantara.
