E-warong is a non-cash distribution program for social assistance to underprivileged communities with a target of 6 million families. The non-cash distribution system prevents the distribution of social assistance that is not on time and target.

Through e-warong, the underprivileged can shop for four subsidized basic needs using the Prosperous Family Card (KKS), namely rice, cooking oil, flour, and sugar. In addition, the e-warong also provides 3 kg LPG gas, fertilizer, and other subsidized products.

The e-Warung program collaborates with four state banks, namely BNI, Bank Mandiri, BRI, and BTN as providers of non-cash shopping systems for social assistance recipients. Meanwhile, Bulog is a provider of necessities that are sold at e-Warung.

On this occasion, JKSG and Bradford University students attended the E-Warong Kube PKH Coordination Meeting which was held in the meeting room of the Yogyakarta City Land and Spatial Planning Office. This agenda was organized by the Department of Social Manpower and Transmigration of Yogyakarta City.
