Senior Lecturer in the Master of Government Administration and Affairs Become Foreign Researcher at Cambridge University

The issue of health services is still a public concern and has even become a polemic in terms of the implementation of health services. It also intersects with government policies to regulate health services. Hence, Lecturer in the Master of Government Administration and Affairs, University of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta, Eko Priyo Purnomo, S.IP., M.Si., M.Res., Ph.D. as a researcher from Cambridge University researched the ASEAN Development Outlook Research Project on health service policies in countries ASEAN members. The research involved two universities as research partners, namely Thammasat University in Thailand and Mundane State University, Philippines.
Eko Priyo Purnomo stated that the research which was held directly from the University of Cambridge consisted of two research sessions, for the first research session discussed how health facility policies in ASEAN countries, especially in Indonesia, the Philippines, and Thailand. Besides, Mr. Eko also added that in this study, he also discussed how to design finance and budget allocations in the health sector, and also saw how health insurance was in each ASEAN member country. The University of Cambridge will then publish the results of this research in the form of journals and books which are then sent to the ASEAN Secretariat.
