National Conference of the Association for Graduate Programs of Muhammadiyah ‘Aisyiyah Higher Education (APPPTMA) was opened by the Chairperson of APPPTMA, Prof. Dr. Achmad Nurmandi, M.Sc., on Friday (18/02) at the Graduate School of UMY. The Association for Graduate Programs of Muhammadiyah ‘Aisyiyah Universities (APPPTMA) is a forum for the Postgraduate Programs of Muhammadiyah ‘Aisyiyah Universities throughout Indonesia.

This series of events began on February 16, 2022, followed by 64 PTMA postgraduate study programs throughout Indonesia on a hybrid basis. The National Deliberation was held on the third day, namely on Friday (18/02). Previously, there had been a Workshop on the Implementation of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence with Prof. Dr. Achmad Nurmandi, M.Sc. APPPTMA Management for discussions on Reporting on APPPTMA Management Activities for the 2019-2022 Period, Formation of APPPTMA 2022-2024 Management, and Preparation of Work Plans.

Prof. Dr. Achmad Nurmandi, M.Sc., the Jusuf Kalla School of Government (JKSG) director, was re-elected for the third time as Chairman of the Association of Graduate Programs of Muhammadiyah ‘Aisyiyah Higher Education (APPPTMA).

The head of APPPTMA, Prof. Dr. Achmad Nurmandi, M.Sc., said that the purpose of this event was twofold. First, the academic level achievement in the form of available mentoring positions of lecturers in the PTMA environment to help his career as a professor with Prof. Marwan Effendy M.Eng., Ph.D., and Prof. Dr. Jamaluddin, M.Sc., as the speaker.

“Postgraduate lecturers have doctoral degrees, but their careers have not yet reached the peak of their careers. That’s what the association should help. We will provide continuous assistance to lecturers,” explained Achmad.

The second goal, he said that on this occasion, it was also intended to write articles through the Data Science and Artificial Intelligence in Research workshop with Prof. Dr. Achmad Nurmandi, M.Sc.
